HOTEL MONTE ROSA

Since 1855 the hotel has provided the picturesque town of Zermatt with some of its most elegant and luxurious accommodation. The traditional Swiss design of the bedrooms and public areas enhance the cosy, romantic atmosphere. In winter, when the surrounding mountains are cloaked in a blanket of pristine snow, you can relax after a day skiing at the Edward´s Bar-Café. Zermatt is a traffic-free zone. Switzerland’s most southern mountain health-resort lies at the foot of the Matterhorn surrounded by 38 peaks of 4000 metres high. The snow-rich region enjoys the longest winter season throughout the Alps. The ski paradise is divided into three varying regions and, including the Italian skiing region, offer ski fans 313 km of marked tracks. The hotel is located in the center of village.
